The Scots School is a Presbyterian Co-educational Day and Boarding School for students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12. It has excellent boarding houses located on the campus for students from Year 6 to Year 12.

The Scots School Bathurst offers Pre-Kindergarten (4 yr olds), Junior School (Kindergarten to Year 6) and Senior School (Years 7 to 12). The Bathurst campus emanates from the traditional farmhouse “Karralee”. Steeped in culture and tradition, The Scots School values its rich heritage of Pipes and Drums Band and Cadets and the original Hereford herd of cattle while looking forward to its strong and promising future with recently built indoor heated swimming pool, Tim Richards Pavilion and Performing Arts Centre. Students of The Scots School are well prepared for the next phase of their life. Outstanding personal support is provided to each student to guide them through the Senior years of school. This has resulted in 96% receiving an Early Entry offer for University study in 2017.

Students can study from a strong suite of subjects and enjoy a diverse range of co-curricular activities which compliment students’ academic study.Co-Curricular activities include a wide range of sports, music ensembles, Pipes and Drums, Cadets, Chess, Debating, Drama productions, Rural Fire Service Cadets and Duke of Edinburgh Awards. Students who are interested in agricultural pursuits can also join the successful Cattle team and Equestrian team.
The Scots School Lithgow caters for Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6. In bright and modern classrooms and a family grouped small environment, the Lithgow campus offers individual attention, diverse curriculum and co-curricular activities.

The Scots School has reduced tuition fees by an average of 30% from 2017. The school is strategically positioning itself in the educational landscape of the Central West. The fee restructure is possible due to many years of outstanding financial management and the fact that the school is free of debt.
