Springwood High School is about to step up to the big stage after its Rock Eisteddfod team recently twirled and whirled their way through heats and into the grand finals.
Now the group of 60 students is polishing its Jungle Dreaming spectacular for an audience of thousands at the Sydney Entertainment Centre on September 4.
It is the fourth successive year Springwood High has outshone schools from across NSW and cracked the top 10.
In a first for the Sydney Rock Eisteddfod Challenge, performances can be viewed on-line at www.rockchallenge.com.au after the finals and on Foxtel Ovation (Channel 125) until October.
