Filmed in toilet block

08 Feb, 2012 08:44 AM
A man has been charged after he was caught allegedly filming in a public toilet in the Upper Mountains.

Police were called to a Katoomba caravan park at about 7.15pm on February 4 following reports a man had filmed women in the toilet block by using his mobile phone under privacy partitions.

A 35-year-old Danish citizen on a tourist visa was arrested at the scene and taken to Katoomba Police Station.

He was charged with filming a person engaged in a private act and his passport was seized.

The man was granted strict conditional bail and was due to appear at Katoomba Local Court on Monday, February 6.
