Katoomba Golf Club has closed its door after going into voluntary receivership on Monday night (July 1).
A golf club member told the Gazette “the locksmith has been in” and the club is no longer trading.
The club’s Facebook page issued the following statement: “Unfortunately the club has temporarily closed its doors to the public. They have appointed administrators to handle the business. We are no longer employed. We, the staff thank all of you for your patronage, your friendship, your laughs and your well wishes - it has been a wonderful and memorable time for all of us. A bit of a sad day for us, so thank you.”
Attempts to contact the club as we went to press failed.
