A former nursing home worker will face Katoomba Court on April 28 charged with allegedly indecently assaulting seven elderly women at a Lower Mountains facility.
The 57-year-old was arrested at his home and taken to Springwood Police Station on Thursday, April 3. He was charged with six counts of aggravated indecent assault and given strict bail conditions.
Staff at the nursing home referred the matter to police when they heard reports the women had been assaulted in February.
Management at the home terminated the man’s employment when they became aware of the allegations.
Blue Mountains Police detectives investigated the claims, which are alleged to have occurred between 2011 and early 2014.
