Commuters on the Great Western Highway experienced delays on Tuesday morning after a truck overturned and blocked all lanes on Monday night.
All westbound and eastbound lanes were reopened about 6.40am.
Long delays were caused while debris was cleared and the truck removed following the crash at Woodford.
The truck was carrying plastic sheeting when it overturned near Tollgate Drive about 9pm on Monday.
The driver was trapped in the truck's cabin for hours before being released close to midnight. He was taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.
Police asked motorists to delay their travel to Sydney where possible or take the Bells Line Road.
