A teenage couple reported missing from Sydney has been found safe and well in Lithgow, unaware of the trouble they caused.
Police attended a phone box in Lithgow's Main Street about 1.30pm today (Wednesday) after receiving a sighting of the boy and girl, both aged 14, from a member of the public.
"They were found to be safe and in good health," a police statement said.
"Officers have briefly spoken to the pair who said they were unaware of the trouble they had caused and camped out in the Lithgow area last night."
The pair were reported missing on Saturday, May 12.
Their parents have been notified of their discovery and investigators have thanked the public for their assistance with the matter.
