Springwood Country Club is looking distinctly brighter after Winmalee High School students completed a colourful mural in its children’s playground.
The art students came up with different concepts for a “kid friendly and happy” mural, which were then collated into the one scene, according to visual arts teacher Jessica Pinto.
The boys first sketched the mural in charcoal and then started painting, completing the mural over two days last Friday and Saturday.
“It was a collaborative work, each student did a section then we pulled it together and made it work,” Ms Pinto said.
“It is a collaboration of spray paint and acrylic.
“We covered a lot of ground [in a short time] and it’s looking great.”
The mural is located on the wall facing the club’s children’s play area.
