A woman has died in a house fire at Hazelbrook.
Emergency services were called to a Lyons Place home about 9pm on Friday night following reports of a fire.
A man and a woman in their 70s were removed from the blaze by NSW Fire and Rescue Officers from Lawson but the body of another woman, believed to be in her mid-60s, was found inside the home.
The woman who escaped the blaze was taken to Concord Hospital while the male was taken to Nepean Hospital. Both were in a serious condition.
Officers from the Blue Mountains Local Area Command are investigating the cause of the fire.
The Hazelbrook death was the second in the Blue Mountains within a 24 hour period due to a house fire, after a person died at Blaxland early on Friday morning.
