A semi-trailer loaded with milk cartons overturned and crashed into a barrier on the highway at Medlow Bath.
The 40-tonne vehicle slid into the barrier in the early hours of Wednesday, August 15, which prevented it from potentially landing on the railway tracks, police said in a statement.
The male truck driver was trapped in the cabin and suffered leg injuries before being rescued by Fire and Rescue NSW officers, assisted by Ambulance NSW paramedics.
