A search team has located what they believe to be the body of missing Blue Mountains man in bushland at Mount Riverview.
Andrew Coogan, 35, had been missing since Tuesday.
A postmortem will be conducted but police said there were no suspicious circumstances.
Mr Coogan had visited Penrith Plaza shopping centre with a housemate on Tuesday morning before heading to Blacktown on his own, police said.
It is understood Mr Coogan returned to his home at Bellereeve Avenue, Mount Riverview, some time later that day.
Mr Coogan was believed to be without medication that he needed.
A team of 50 volunteers had resumed searching bushland in the Mount Riverview area at 8am on Saturday, including police officers from the Blue Mountains Local Area Command and the Police Aviation Support Branch.
