Joining his local football club as a kid, Keet Miller, 22, had no idea it would lead him to his future sweetheart.
A Kingswood local, Keet met his girlfriend Caitlin Worldon, 20, in high school, having played footy under her father as coach and her mother as team manager.
The day their photo was taken by photographer George Voulgaropoulos in Penrith Plaza marked an exciting milestone for the pair.
They were picking up tickets to Thailand, their first overseas trip together.
"She had never been out of NSW. I mean that's pretty good, it's her first time going anywhere and it was overseas," he said of Caitlin, who is studying a bachelor of arts at Macquarie University.
The couple spends most of their time in the Penrith local area, hanging with mates and enjoying a few beers.
For Keet, who spends the week working in horticulture, Saturdays call for a session at the Blue Cattle Dog Hotel in St Clair.
"I just like the fact that all my friends and everyone I know is around here."
But if you ask Caitlin, their future doesn't lie in the Penrith area.
"She told me she wants us to buy acres and build our own house. I told her it's big. It's a big thing," said Keet.
"But I told her I don't mind as long as there is space."
