The Blue Mountains SES has dealt with more than 100 calls for help following the storms that lashed the Blue Mountains this week.
"Katoomba and Faulconbridge will remain on standby on Thursday as the ground is soaking wet and there is a high risk of further damage. We are also sending an SES Storm Response vehicle to the Sydney Northern region with a Victorian SES team to assist with the storm damage closer to the coast on Thursday," the Blue Mountains SES reported on Wednesday night.
While the majority of the wet weather has passed, the SES warned it will become breezy from Friday to Sunday.
"Creeks and streams will remain high over the next few days and we recommend you take caution if you intend entering the National Park over the next week."
The storms caused minor disruptions to local roads with fallen trees.
