Police are appealing for information about an attack in Western Sydney on Saturday in which a motorcyclist allegedly attacked a cyclist.
The 59-year-old male cyclist was riding with a friend along the Northern Road, in Luddenham, near Badgerys Creek, around 10am on Saturday when he was approached by a group of people on motorcycles about 500 metres from the intersection of Elizabeth Drive, NSW Police said.
One of the men then allegedly rode up close to the man and kicked him in the leg.
"The cyclist fell onto the road and was assisted by fellow cyclists," the police said in a statement. "He was treated at the scene for cuts to this face and body."
They are appealing for any drivers who saw the incident, as well as anyone else who was involved in it, to come forward. The motorcyclist did not stop after it happened, apparently continuing north along the Northern Road.
"The motorcyclists have been described as being dressed in black clothing and riding black Harley Davidson motorbikes with chrome-coloured handlebars," police said.
