It's about respect, Bernard Tomic says.
The 22-year-old isn't getting much of that on social media, after Tennis Australia announced it would dump him from this month's Davis Cup quarter-final against Kazakhstan in Darwin.
The announcement came after Tomic ranted about Pat Rafter and Tennis Australia officials in a post-Wimbeldon press conference, accusing them of lack of support and respect.
Here are some of the strongest reactions to Tomic's comments and Tennis Australia's announcement:

Understandable #Tomic stood down by TA. He earns big dollars and can pay for his own court time. I pay for gym, pool, etc.— Greg Smith (@GregSmithPT)

@TennisAustralia good decision re #Tomic. While hes talented Ive never liked his sense of entitlement or bad attitude. Wasted opportunity— Knight Me TA (@Bieberz1nOnly)

I'd like to see Tomic & Kyrgios play doubles together. Imagine the entertainment on court with their antics & then post match in interviews.— brad hilyard (@worldofbrad)
