The Blue Mountains Music Academy is stepping up the tempo and opening its doors for all to see. The new Blue Mountains Music Academy, formerly Waratah Music School is opening with a brand new style in early December- with two new studios and new teachers being added to the roster
Academy director Tracey Yarad has 25 years of teaching under her belt. She studied at the NSW State Conservatorium of Music and since graduating has been teaching piano and voice since 1985.
After opening the school in 2002 Ms Yarad is pleased to be launching a brand new look for the academy which boasts new studios and new teachers joining the list of already talented instructors. Other Australian music specialists including Robyn Dunne, Julia Day and Gina Tedeschi are joining the ranks and have extensive backgrounds as professional working musicians in Australia and abroad.
Students at BMMA are given opportunities to perform and challenge themselves by joining forces with other students in band programs. Musik Makers Early Childhood Music group classes are a great way to introduce toddlers from 18 months to six year olds to the joy of music.
