Rudd to plant oak tree in Faulconbridge's Corridor of Oaks

Former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd will plant a tree in the Prime Minister's Corridor of Oaks at Faulconbridge on Monday, October 8.

The 10.30am ceremony will complete unfinished business for the Queensland MP who was deposed by Julia Gillard before he could plant his oak tree as Prime Minister.

Every Australian prime minister, or a member of their family, has planted a tree in the Corridor of Oaks since 1934.
