The award-winning accommodation, local attractions and spectacular scenery of the Blue Mountains will feature in a new episode of Sydney Weekender, thanks to a partnership with the NSW Government.
The episode secured by the NSW Government’s tourism and major events agency Destination NSW, will encourage people across the State to plan a visit to the Blue Mountains.
The episode will feature the Fairmont Resort and Scenic World, highlighting the region as a one of Australia’s most spectacular natural parks and a perfect holiday destination for families, nature lovers and adventure seekers.
It is set to air at 5.30pm on Saturday, February 13 on the Seven Network in Sydney and on the Prime Network across NSW and the ACT.
NSW Minister for Trade, Tourism and Major Events, Stuart Ayres, said promoting key products and experiences across the State is an important of part of the NSW Government’s role to attract intrastate and interstate visitors.
“Securing episodes on popular travel shows such as Sydney Weekender provides an exciting platform to encourage visitation to help boost our overnight visitor economy,” Mr Ayres said.
Destination NSW Chief Executive Officer Sandra Chipchase said: “Our partnership with Sydney Weekender ensures that Australia’s number one State continues to be showcased to a large and receptive audience.
“Those planning a holiday should look no further than NSW, and tune in to Sydney Weekender this Saturday to discover why NSW is home to some of Australia’s best tourism products and experiences,” Ms Chipchase said.
