Blue Mountains musicians Daniel Holdsworth and Aidan Roberts became the smash hit of the 2012 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, winning the prestigious Herald Angel Critics Award and a host of rave reviews.
Their cult classic show Mike Oldfield’s Tubular Bells For Two enjoyed sellout performances, enthralling audiences and critics alike.
The Edinburgh Evening News described the show as: “Five Stars . . . the show of the 2012 Edinburgh Fringe . . . a virtuoso performance from two musicians at the top of their game” while The Scotsman added: “Five Stars . . . a must see and hear”.
Now the boys have returned home for a special encore performance at the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre, Penrith on Saturday, October 13 at 8pm.

Mike Oldfield’s Tubular Bells was a massive hit record — a Celtic-folk-rock opus that shot to number one in album charts around the world in 1973 and 1974, throwing its young composer into the international spotlight and kick-starting Richard Branson’s Virgin music empire.
Nearly 40 years later, the two Blue Mountains multi-instrumentalists have arranged the entire score of Tubular Bells to be played out by just two blokes, bringing the influential masterpiece to life once more with all of its multi-layered madness and subtle beauty intact, wowing audiences with their stunning performance.
From humble beginnings in 2009, when Daniel and Aidan first performed this masterpiece in the Blue Mountains, they have gone on to mesmerise sell-out audiences internationally and around Australia.
