Round eight of the 2016 Waratah Youth League competition featured a triple-header at the Penrith Valley Regional Sports Centre, with the Panthers winning both division one games but losing the division two men's game.
The Penrith women were first up on the unfamiliar court two but it would prove no obstacle against the bottom-placed South West Sydney Razorbacks.

The Panthers face a local derby on Saturday, heading to Blaxland High School stadium to face the Springwood Scorchers.
The division one men faced the tenth-placed Moss Vale Magic in the final game of the day and were unimpressive early, crawling to an 18-12 lead in the first quarter.
The game changed significantly from the start of the second quarter, with the Panthers now focused and totally dominating the contest, eventually winning 97-40.
Tom Lewer (Springwood) led the Panthers with 17 points, ahead of Sean Weekes 16, Bryden Albertyn 13, Jose Flores 11 and Adam Lulka (East Blaxland) 11.
Penrith's two division one teams have a tough double-header this weekend, facing the Bankstown Bruins at Condell Park on Saturday, then heading up the M1 to face the Newcastle Hunters at Broadmeadow on Sunday.
In other basketball news, three Penrith players have been named in the NSW Metro Under 16 teams for the upcoming Australian Championships, which will be held in Kilsyth, Victoria from July 2-9.
Tatiana Beaumont (Emu Heights) and Meg Jefferson (Springwood) have both been selected into the NSW Women’s team, whilst Ruval James (RJ) Estacio has been selected into the NSW Men’s team.
