Commuters warned to expect disruptions from closure of Sydney's Bankstown line

Transport Minister Andrew Constance says the disruption to commuters and residents from the conversion of Sydney's Bankstown line to take single-deck metro trains is a "necessary evil" but it is too early to tell how many months it will be closed for construction.
