Blue Mountains Artfest 2016 is proud to announce that celebrated surrealist, Michael Rossiter, is this year’s featured artist.
Rossiter will be exhibiting new original artworks specifically created for this exhibition at Wentworth Falls Public School.
Moving away from his originally more structured geometrical works, Rossiter’s new direction of creativity, which he admits is heavily influenced by his two children, results in vivid, playful landscapes that mirror fun and typical surrealist undertones that challenge a viewers’ possible set concepts of reality.
Opening night always proves to be a success with delicious comestibles, flowing bubbles, toe-tapping sounds and of course the chance to meet the local talented artist, Michael Rossiter, in person.
Tap the dates Friday November 11 to Sunday November 13 into your device, or ink then into your diaries if you’re old school. Whichever way you do it, just be sure to pay Blue Mountains Artfest 2016 a visit.
Blue Mountains Artfest is looking for more artists to exhibit and sell their work. Entries close October 14. Full details are online at www.bluemountainsartfest.net.au
