A man filmed a child using a public toilet in Batemans Bay last week, police say.
NSW Police said the boy was at the shopping centre on Perry Street about noon when he went to the bathroom.
Police were contacted after he was allegedly filmed by a man.
"As a result of this investigation, a 54-year-old man attended Batemans Bay Police Station [on Friday] night," police said.
"The man was charged with filming a person engaged in a private act with aggravating circumstances."
He is expected to appear before Batemans Bay Local Court later this month.
