Dozens of zombies shuffled their way down the main street of Port Fairy during what is set to become an annual event.
Plans are already under way to make next year’s Zombie Shuffle bigger and better with a committee recently being formed.
Organiser Katie Wise said about 45 people, most of them children, donned their best zombie costumes and descended on Port Fairy streets.
“There was definitely people staying in their roles. It was fantastic,” Ms Wise said.
“We had a really good turn out of little kids.”
Wild winds that lashed the south-west on Sunday cut the zombie shuffle short, but participants gathered on the town’s Fiddlers Green where prizes were handed out for the best dressed.
