Warrimoo crash causes delays

Three men have been hospitalised after a head-on collision at Warrimoo this morning (Monday, October 29).

The crash between a Subaru and a taxi happened about 6.35am on the Great Western Highway about one kilometre east of Warrimoo shops.

The male driver of the Subaru was airlifted to Westmead Hospital while two men travelling in the taxi were taken by road ambulance to the same hospital.

The crash has caused major traffic delays with heavy vehicles advised to use Bells Line of Road. 

All other vehicles were advised to use Hawkesbury Road, Springwood Road, Castlereagh Road and Mulgoa Road to travel between Springwood and Penrith
