We Are Handsome may be best known for wanderlust-inspired swimwear loved by the likes of Beyonce, Ruby Rose, and Rihanna, but the Australian brand's new leggings are this summer's must-have.
Founder Jeremy Somers and creative designer/wife Katinka flew into Sydney for the launch of "Babylon" - a multi-coloured floral style contrasted on a white background that takes cues from the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. Created in collaboration with Vaalia yoghurt, all proceeds go to Look Good Feel Better, a free community service supporting people with cancer.
Miss Universe Australia 2008 and model, Laura Dundovic, was on-hand to host the event at Sydney Dance Company overlooking the Harbour Bridge, less than 24 hours after she jetted back from Ireland where her rugby league beau, Quade Cooper, had been playing.
Looking fresh-faced despite the long-haul flight, she gave a first-look at the new tights that said she would not only be wearing to the gym, but for dinner with friends too.
"Sports luxe is good for any occasion. I have been known to go for dinner with friends straight after the gym. Why not? No one even batted an eyelid. It's Sydney," she laughed, when speaking to Fairfax Media.
After her grandfather passed away from the disease, the 29-year-old decided to get involved with the cancer initiative that provides free classes for women, men and teens to teach them how to manage their appearance when dealing with the side effects of treatment.
"Cancer has really touched everyone, so that is why charities like this are so important," Dundovic said.
"It's often not thought about how the effect cancer can have on women and how they look and their self-esteem, so it's a really beautiful cause."
Since Look Good Feel Good was first founded in 1990, it has helped 130,000 people in 1000 workshops nationwide. More than 1500 volunteers ensure the service keep on ticking over every year, including the likes of LUXit makeup artist, Sabrina Melei, who has been working with the charity for the last six years.
"I was watching The Morning Show one day and Kerri-Anne Kennerley was talking about Look Good Feel Better. As someone who has experienced family members going through chemo for cancer first-hand it seemed like the perfect cause to be a part of," Melei said.
"At the workshops, I teach women undergoing chemo to get their confidence back by learning how to put colour back on their complexions, cover pigmentation due to treatment, draw on eyebrows and use tricks to make their lashes seem fuller. Bringing a few hours of laughter and beauty to these ladies in such hard times keeps me going back."
Eyebrows are the most sought after element at Melei's class.
"Most of the women don't have eyebrows left or will be losing their eyebrows, so it's very important to teach them how to recreate them while looking natural," she said.
