Artist Kate Soady, owner of Moontree Candle Shop & Art Gallery in Leura, has a new body of work on show in the gallery.
Coinciding with late night shopping in Leura Village on Friday, December 16, this is a fantastic opportunity to come and celebrate the opening of Soady's exhibition.
It is a collection of arresting abstract mixed media artworks which awake the creative spirit and evoke a sense of excitement, calmness and spiritual consciousness equally.
Appealing to those newly venturing into the art world as well as seasoned art lovers, Soady's canvases vary in size from small to large scale and are reasonably priced to suit all budgets.
The natural world is Soady's springboard of inspiration and what better surroundings to be immersed in than our World Heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park.
"My work is a poetic journey into the exploration of balance and harmony, creating a sense of wonder and playfulness," said Soady. "Music and dance are both major influences in my life and my artworks reflect the rhythm and movement with their complex interwoven constructs."
With an artistic career spanning well over 20 years, Soady's extensive experience and professionalism have resulted in successful Sydney exhibitions and the establishment of the iconic Leura business Moontree, which people love to continually revisit from far and wide.
There will be special prices on artwork on opening night coupled with delicious nibbles and sparkling bubbles from 6-9pm on December 16, Moontree 157 Leura Mall, Leura. For further information visit www.katesoady.com.
