Dance Empire Studio has had yet another successful year in the Blue Mountains.
Studio owners, Sarah Stevens and Kelly Morson said they were amazed at the talented students at their studio and pride themselves on creating a family-friendly, close-knit studio that welcomes all.
Sarah and Kelly said they encourage students regardless of their experience and make certain every child reaches their potential.
They also stress the importance of recognition. Each child at their studio receives a trophy at the end of the year, and other trophies are awarded for encouragement, outstanding talent/potential and improvement.
Three major trophies are also awarded each year. The recipients for 2016 included Issy Gray (Most Outstanding Overall Junior Dancer), Georgia Davis (Most Outstanding Overall Senior Dancer) and Laura Jelovic (Dedication to Dance).
2016 was the second year of the school’s Boys only hip-hop class. Their performance bought the house down at the end-of- year concert and provided the opportunity for some students to learn solos and troupe dances to be performed at competitions in 2017.
Kelly and Sarah said that as they are both mums they were aware of the need to provide quality, professional teaching at an affordable price.
They both have more than 18 years of dance teaching and have worked professionally in both performance and choreography.
Dance Empire Studio is at Warrimoo.
