Blue Mountains residents can get their NBN questions answered at a Telstra kiosk in Katoomba until Saturday, January 21.
The kiosk is located at the Katoomba Village shopping centre in Parke Street.
Macquarie MP Susan Templeman welcomed the kiosk, which was one of the outcomes of a local NBN forum held last year.
“One of the major complaints we heard on the night of the NBN forum, that has been echoed repeatedly over the last few months, is how difficult it is to get face to face with Telstra given the nearest offices are Penrith and Lithgow, especially if you live in the Mid and Upper Mountains,” she said.
“I am pleased to see that Telstra has followed through with its commitment, and I hope it will be another step in addressing many of the issues the Mountains faces regarding Telstra services, which are so vital.
“I would encourage people to visit the kiosk to discuss their concerns with their Telstra phone, mobile or internet services.”
