Man dies after becoming trapped by vehicle in Blue Mountains
A report is being prepared for the information of the Coroner following the death of a man in the Blue Mountains on Saturday night.
Just after 7pm on Saturday, emergency services were called to Burns Road, Springwood, following reports a 79-year-old man had been struck by a utility.
It is believed the utility rolled and dragged the man a short distance, before he became pinned to a fence.
The man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics, but he died at the scene.
The death is not believed to be suspicious.
Officers attached to Blue Mountains Local Area Command will prepare a report for the Coroner.
