Police on Tuesday were concentrating search efforts in bushland near Leura Memorial Gardens for missing ACT man Gregory Bond.
The 43-year-old was last seen in the ACT about 10.30am on Sunday, January 22 and is believed to have travelled to the Blue Mountains.
Emergency services began searching for Mr Bond in the bush around Leura on Monday and police hold significant concerns for his welfare as he has a serious medical condition.
Mr Bond is described as being Caucasian, 188cm tall, medium build with grey hair. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans.

Man assaulted
A 19-year-old Bowenfels man was knocked unconscious after being kicked and punched in the head and had his hand injured in an incident by a Parke Street, Katoomba pub about 2am on January 21.
Blue Mountains Police Detective Acting Inspector Adam Evans said an 18-year-old man, a 19-year-old Katoomba man and an 18-year-old Warrimoo man have been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, common assault and affray. The trio were granted conditional bail to appear before Katoomba Local Court on February 6.
Intimidation
In a domestic violence incident at Hazelbrook on January 21, a 35-year-old man allegedly repeatedly hit the front door with such force the door was ripped from its hinges, before he fled the scene in his car, Inspector Evans said.
Police arrested the man later that night at Hazelbrook Bowling Club. He was charged with intimidation and destroy/damage property, and will appear before Katoomba Local Court on February 20.
Mt Vic accident
A 25-year-old Mulgoa man lost control of his vehicle about 5.15am on January 22 heading down Victoria Pass. Police were called and the man was breath-tested, later returning a reading of 0.136.
“A small amount of cannabis was also located in the vehicle which the driver admitted to being his,” Inspector Evans said.
The man was charged with possess prohibited drug, drive with mid-range PCA and negligent driving and will appear at Katoomba Local Court on March 6.
Man trapped
An 79-year-old Springwood man died on January 22 after being found by friends trapped by his vehicle. The man died at the scene and police are not treating his death as suspicious. A brief will be prepared for the coroner.
