Non-stop entertainment from 10.25am will be the centrepiece of Springwood’s Australia Day Festival on Thursday, January 26.
Organised by Lower Mountains Fundraising Events, the popular annual event will be held in the grounds of Springwood Public School, with gates opening at 10am.
Entry is by donation.
The event combines the talents of community groups, local musicians as well as a variety of different stalls, displays and a great choice of food and great Aussie talent.
Funds raised from the festival will go towards local Rural Fire Service brigades with displays and information from the RFS and SES also featured.
There will be plenty of entertainment for children including mini go carts, pony rides, face painting and many more carnival rides.
There will be two stages, featuring a mixture of bands and dance groups to keep festival-goers entertained.
The entertainment line-up starts at 10.25am and includes LKM Dancers, Dave Garner, local bands The Quokkas and Cloverfield, Blue Mountains Pipe Band, Argentis and Tall Timbre.
Blue Mountains MP Trish Doyle will officially open the festivities at 12.10pm.
