Morning Melodies returns to the Blue Mountains Theatre and Community Hub for 2017 on Wednesday, March 8 with a very special performance.
Get ready to Get Back to Yesterday as Morning Melodies brings you Beatle Magic, Australia’s most authentic sounding Beatles tribute show as declared by radio’s legendary Bob Rogers.
Authenticity is what it's all about for Beatle Magic, even down to their “stitch for stitch” exact replica Beatle suits and identical instruments that the Beatles used. Since posting their videos to YouTube people from around the world have posted comments questioning whether it really is them performing, not a recording of the real Beatles. If that wasn’t authentic enough, bass guitarist Glenn Wheatcroft even plays left-handed, just like Paul McCartney.
Founding member and Band Leader Bill Croft is no stranger when it comes to the sounds of The Beatles. As his favourite group of all time, he has been performing their hits from an early age and it has long been his goal to create the best Beatle show around. Croft has also starred in such shows as The British Invasion, Stars In Your Eyes and Lennon Nowhere Man tribute to John Lennon, just to mention a few.
Morning Melodies at The Hub is a monthly live music program at the Blue Mountains Theatre that presents an exciting and entertaining selection of evergreen favourites, performed by accomplished singers and musicians – and Devonshire Tea, too.
Morning Melodies presents Beatle Magic at 10am. Special ticket price for Seniors Festival are $18 (including Devonshire Tea and concert). Tickets can be purchased in person at the box office, via phone 4723 5050 or online at www.bluemountainstheatre.com.
