Police have confirmed a man’s body has been found in the Blue Mountains, believed to be that of a 34-year-old man reported missing early on February 16.
“Although not formally identified, the body is believed to be that of a 34-year-old man reported missing to police this morning (February 16), after he failed to attend work in Lithgow,” police said in a statement.
“About 11.30am today (Friday), officers from Blue Mountains Local Area Command located a vehicle on Taylors Road, Woodford, with the man’s body inside.”
Police will investigate the man’s death and prepare a report for the coroner.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
