Stolen banner
A brand-new banner advertising art classes has been stolen from a fence on Ferguson Road, Springwood. Vanessa Joret, who runs a small business teaching adults and children how to draw, spent $158 on the banner. But after being on display for just 10 days, someone took it. Ms Joret said she initially thought it might have been removed because she was supposed to get permission but police, council and the railways said no. She has asked people nearby to check their backyards in case it has been dumped.
