To market, to market: The steer being wrangled in the Springwood Hub carpark by one of the Blue Mountains police.
A steer couldn’t decide whether it should be in the paddock or on the plate on Sunday, when it did the rounds of the Springwood Growers Market.
Stall holders at the market were setting up by the Springwood Hub on Macquarie Rd, when the steer wandered by to check out the action about 7am on Sunday.
“Police attended and found the yearling was quite placid,” said Blue Mountains Detective Chief Inspector Dietmar Almer.
“Police then herded the yearling to its home paddock at nearby David Rd where it was secured without incident.”
Insp Almer said no animals, people or police were injured during the incident.
