Keith Painter will explain “Why Hassans Walls were Prized and Pillaged” at the Blue Mountains Historical Society’s monthly meeting and public lecture on Saturday, July 1 from 10am at 99 Blaxland Road, Wentworth Falls. Mr Painter is an author and publisher, writer and researcher of bushwalking guidebooks and local history books. In his latest book, Hassans Walls : Prized and Pillaged, he explores the brooding hills near Lithgow which overlook the Hartley and Kanimbla Valleys.
