The Wollemi is the biggest declared wilderness in the state [4,250 sqkm]. The book by Andy Macqueen celebrates those who have wandered there, not lost, but looking for adventure or peace.

Wentworth Falls writer Andy Macqueen has a new book with inspiring tales of people in the wilderness. Wayfaring in Wollemi: Stories of people in wilderness was launched at the  Blue Mountains Botanic Garden, Mount Tomah - the only botanic garden located in a World Heritage Area. The 140 guests were asked to remember the place Wollemi, not just the Wollemi Pine.
