Rockabilly and vintage enthusiasts stepped out in style on Saturday, January 20 at the Lady Luck Festival at The Carrington Hotel, Katoomba.
From 11am-5pm, Lady Luck was fun, fashion, food and entertainment for all, with free admission to bands, market stalls, Miss Lady Luck and Little Miss Lady Luck competitions, the hot rod and vintage car show, swing dancing, public dance lessons and a jumping castle.
At night, the Lady Luck Afterparty required people to frock up and dance the night away to live music from Rachel Brady and the Moonshine Special, DJ Rockin’ Marc Rondeau and the dance brilliance of the Sydney Swing Katz, who were a big hit with this year’s festival-goers.
In memory of Carrington Hotel employee Karl Percival, the festival is a fundraiser for the Black Dog Institute.
