Lower Mountains Fundraising Events will host the Springwood Australia Day Festival on Friday, January 26.
The day of entertainment for the whole family will be held at the Springwood Public School playground, featuring the talents of community groups, local musicians as well a variety of different stalls, food and displays.
The annual event raises money for the Rural Fire Service and State Emergency Service. Gates open at 10am. Entry by donation. Disabled parking will be available.
Non-stop entertainment on two stages starts at 10.30am including the LKM Dancers, Penny Dreadful, Cassidy-Rea, Deers From Embers and the Blue Mountains Pipe Band.
For the children, performers on stage will include Unity Studios, Busy Bees, Building Blocks, Queen Bee and Richard Norman guitarist.
There will also be fantastic prizes raffled on the day.
Blue Mountains MP Trish Doyle officially opened the festival about 1pm.
