A primary school teacher has been charged over the alleged indecent assault of three nine-year-old girls.
Police began investigating the man after being made aware of the allegations last November.
Following inquiries, Child Abuse Squad detectives arrested the 23-year-old teacher at Valley Heights on Tuesday.
Police allege he indecently assaulted the girls during 2017.
The children were students at a primary school in Blacktown at which the man most recently taught.
The man is not performing any teaching duties at the school.
He has been charged with three counts of aggravated indecent assault - victim under authority of offender.
Granted conditional bail, the man is due to appear at Blacktown Local Court on March 27.
