Automotive Mechanic

Our client is a trusted and well-known Car Rental service provider across Eastern Australia with an exceptional reputation in delivering high quality service and reliable vehicles at affordable prices. With an increase in workload, they are currently seeking a full time Automotive Mechanic to join their small cairns workshop for an immediate start.

Your new role
A day in the role will be diverse and rewarding, performing services, repairs and scheduled maintenance on a wide range of new and used vehicles across brands including, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Holden and Subaru. This Monday to Friday, full time role will provide you the opportunity to showcase your skills and industry experience in a positive and inclusive working environment.

What you'll need to succeed
You have strong experience and background as a qualified Automotive Mechanic and are dedicated to WH&S. You are self-sufficient, reactive, adaptable and have good computer skills. You work well under pressure and excel in team environments. To be successful for this position you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Trade Qualified Automotive Mechanic or Mechanical Engineering Tradesperson with Automotive experience
• Current Driver’s Licence
• High quality workmanship
• Strong experience working as an Automotive Mechanic
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Customer Service skills
