About the Role …

We are currently accepting applications for experienced Cafe All-Rounders who have bright, outgoing personalities and exceptional customer service skills to fill positions within our very popular Cafe.

The successful candidate must be available Thursday, Friday & Saturday afternoon/nights.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering a high standard of service to members and guests
• Preparing hot and cold beverages, including various styles of coffees, milkshakes, cold-pressed juices, etc (Barista experience preferred)
• Preparing and cooking food, including sandwiches, salads, breakfast items, plating desserts, etc (basic cooking experience preferred)
• Providing table service and table clearing services to guests
• Handling all cash transactions in an efficient manner, ensuring the security of cash and the privacy of member details at all times
• Maintaining a clean and tidy environment
• Working with a team who have a strong Workplace, Health and Safety focus.

About you…

To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following: 

Essential skills and competencies:

• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work as a team
• A keen eye for detail
• High level of grooming and personal presentation standards
• Reliability and the flexibility to work a variety of shifts (the Cafe is open from 8am every morning, through to 9pm on weeknights and 10pm on weekends).

Experience and Qualifications:

• Barista skills and experience
• A minimum of 1-2 years of food and beverage experience
