Southport Sharks is one of the largest clubs in Queensland with over 55,000 members. Our facility offers a multi-purpose events centre, which can seat up to 1000 guests, multiple food & beverage outlets, 24/7 fitness centre, kids club, gaming facilities plus a 120 room Mantra at Sharks hotel.

About the Role …
We are currently accepting application for experienced Events Food and Beverage Attendants for our Events Centre, who have bright, outgoing personalities and exceptional customer service skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering a high standard of service to members and guests
- Providing bar and/or table service to guests of the Events Centre
- Arranging furniture as required
- Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the Events Centre
- Working with a team who have a strong Workplace, Health and Safety focus
About you…
To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following:
Essential skills and competencies:
- Previous experience in high standard customer service
- Experience working in banquets or events
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team
- A keen eye for detail
- A friendly and positive attitude
- Fast and efficient, as well as confident and reliable
- Enjoy working in a team
- Self-motivated and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision
- Flexibility to work fluctuating hours in accordance with operational requirements
Experience and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1-2 years of food and beverage experience
- Current Qld RSA is beneficial
