An excellent opportunity for you to join as an experienced and flexible Executive Assistant to support Macquarie Group’s COO for 13 months.
In this role, you will assist Macquarie’s COO, who is also the Group Head of the Corporate Operations Group. Providing support such as complex diary management, managing conflicts and priorities between Macquarie and external commitments; dealing with confidential reports and information, coordinating papers for Committees and Board Meetings, organisation of the Leadership Team and Macquarie COO meetings, offsites and group travel. As the EA to the Group Head, you are also a point on contact for stakeholders across the bank regarding the divisions holds – Human Resources, Technology, Operations, Business Improvement & Strategy, Division Transformation & Data, Macquarie Foundation and Business Services.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in proactively supporting senior executives. You will also be able to demonstrate the ability to juggle multiple high-level tasks and prioritise accordingly. In addition, you will be highly organised and have excellent time management skills and handle complex and sensitive work situations with the necessary skills and diplomacy to produce effective outcomes for those involved. You are proactive, efficient and have an eye for detail. Your skills as a communicator, along with your ability to prioritise workloads and navigate conflicting requirements is what enables you to effectively manage and deliver results for a wide and diverse group of stakeholders. You enjoy working closely with a variety of people, flourish in a fast-paced working environment, and your strong liaison skills complement your command of Microsoft Office applications and a variety of internal systems such as Coupa & Concur.
