Company

Our client is a specialist Construction and Labour Hire company based in Revesby in Sydney's south west. They have firmly established a reputation for working on iconic residential projects and have gained an impressive pipeline of work. Due to their continued success they are looking to strengthen their team with the addition of a Finance Manager.

Duties include (but not limited to): 

  • Provide reports and attend meetings where required;
  • Ensure all compliance requirements relating to all company activity are provisioned for and complied with a timely and efficient manner, including employee entitlements, ATO requirements, insurances etc.;
  • Manage the financial and management accounts of the company;
  • Ensure overhead budgets are defined and reportable;
  • Provide accurate and timely cash flow forecast reporting in accordance with total operating projections;
  • Attend meetings with finance team and management to coordinate, report and improve company performance;
  • Implement finance department procedures;
  • Coordinate and liaise with external service providers including; accountants, brokers, legal practitioners, etc.;
  • Maintain finance system in accordance with statutory requirements.

Ideal Skills & Requirements: 

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role;
  • CPA/CA qualified;
  • Degree in Business Management or Accounting;
  • Proficient with Excel and MYOB software;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Knowledge of the implementation and development of policies and procedures;
  • Strong commitment, leadership and management skills.
