Management Accountant

Your new company is an industry leading, not-for-profit health service that has serviced the local community for many years. With a mission of working collaboratively to improve the health of the local population, this organisation requires a like-minded individual to assist within their financial team in the capacity of a Management Accountant.

Your new role
Your new role as Management Accountant will operate within a small finance team and report directly to the CFO. You will apply financial expertise through a range of specialist accounting advice and support the organisation's operational goals. On a day to day basis you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Budgeting and forecasting processes including: reporting ,analysis and engagement with all cost centre managers to make informed decisions
• End of month processing including journal entries and analysis of expenditure and revenue
• Supporting operational managers through tailored reporting, analysis and education, to optimise space occupancy, utilisation and activity
• Grant reconciliation and acquittal
• Other adhoc financial duties as required

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful for this position you will be a tertiary educated accountant and ideally demonstrate the following characteristics:

• Demonstrated experience in data analysis. E.g. Month end result such as revenue, costs margin and cashflow
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Exposure to healthcare sector or related industry
• CA or CPA qualifications preferred, but not essential
