Your new company
A nationally recognised brand and market leader within the Not for Profit Sector, this organisation has been in operation for over 35 years. They are a diverse enterprise, which offers a variety of services right across the State with head office based in the Hobart CBD.

Your new role
Reporting to the Business & Scheduling Operational Manager, you’ll be an integral part of the Scheduling team coordinating and facilitating the scheduling of employees, in response to vacancies created due to planned & unplanned leave, and other duties as directed by the Disability Management Team. You core duties ill include but are not limited too

  • Facilitate appropriately experienced worker for all available shifts and fill unplanned shift vacancies due to sickness, annual leave or training requirements, following industrial obligations and business requirements into account:
  • Work with clients and staff to effectively schedule clients needs, requests, in line with staffs availability, skillsets and requirements,
  • Ensure all support/care needs changes and client complaints which are not related to employee rostering are promptly reported to the designated internal Service Manage.
  • Complete documentation in an accurate, professional, and timely manner that meets employer, legislative and stakeholder expectations providing daily weekly and monthly reports and other documentation.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will ideally have experience working in a similar position, ideally with strong workforce planning or scheduling experience. You will also need to have or be able to obtain a Schedule 1 National Police Check, complete in the last 12 months, and a current full Working with Vulnerable People Check (WWVP).
