Your new role

This organisation is seeking a solutions-focused Sourcing Specialist to join the team. You would e providing specialised response and advice relating to this buying desk. Your keen interest in continuous improvement initiatives will be key in identifying opportunities to make engaging with Buying processes simpler and easier for the customer to navigate.

our duties will include but not be limited to :

• Identifying opportunities to make the buying process simpler
• Work collaboratively and share knowledge and expertise with the procurement team and stakeholders,
• Investigate, analyse and resolve queries that have been escalated.
• Liaise with customers via phone/email and obtain additional info about the enquiry/issue
• Triage requests and queries through the relevant team
• perform tactical sourcing below $250K

What you'll need to succeed

• previous experience working in a procurement or shared services capacity within a large and complex organisation with relevant procurement subject matter expertise (desirable)
• strong initiative towards delivering exceptional customer service and providing regular updates to the client, through to resolution
• previous experience in proactive prioritisation of high impact tickets/issues and tactical sourcing /buying requests to enable efficient resolution
• clear and concise presentation and communication skills to deliver messaging on a variety of channels to varied audiences
• flexibility in their organisation and planning skills in order to balance competing agendas and demands in a fast paced, time pressured environment
• a passion for continuous improvement including identification and participation
