A group of seven bushwalkers missing near Katoomba since Sunday has made contact to say they are safe and well.
The group sent a text message shortly after 7am today (Monday) to say they spent the night in a cave.
Police and emergency services will meet at the Narrow Neck car park about 8.45am to begin the retrieval operation now that they have a GPS location for the group.
Police and ambulance paramedics hope to walk the group out.
Police were told the five men and two women, aged between 27 and 69, started walking about 8.30am on Sunday and were last seen about 1pm on Narrow Neck Plateau.
